Topic: “Christmas Party”
We’ll be doing lots of things to celebrate this year past and a New Year soon upon us, including:– Singing Christmas Carols (Roger will be playing the piano, with lots of Christmas music and singing). Julie Newby will be soliciting new members for the SBYC All-Women’s Choir, with a rehearsal/performance all happening at once during the evening.
– Recognizing the excellent work of the 2018 Board Members and installing the incoming 2019 Board Members
– SBYC Gift Exchange, directed by Santa’s top elf, Jessie Lundin. Participation is totally optional, but if you’d like to participate please bring a gift in the $15 to $20 range, nicely wrapped. Please no “White Elephant” gifts or re-gifting of items that you’re trying to rid yourself of, but gifts with a humorous twist are certainly welcome. Jessie will remind us all of the rules of the exchange, and do her usual terrific job of directing the exchange (and urging everyone to keep things moving along.)
We have both banquet rooms reserved as this meeting is usually our biggest attendance of the year. Wear some bright and colorful Holiday gear to get us all in the mood. Wild Christmas ties! Outlandish Christmas Sweaters! Blinking lights!?!?!?
REMEMBER: Please use the Comments box in your RSVP on Evite to advise how many of which dinner menu choice you would like. The Evite will go to your email Inbox Monday or Tuesday, with responses due no later than Saturday morning, December 15. AND, for anyone who still has not paid their 2019 club dues, paying them at the Dinner Meeting is your last chance to do so without the late fee.

Main course selections are due by 9:00pm on Friday, December 14. Look for your Evite invitation in your email, then hit Reply and use the Comments field to tell me how many in your party and their dinner selections. Cancellations must also be made by 9:00pm December 14.
Note that the deadline for reservations is also the deadline for cancelling a previous reservation; otherwise you will be charged for the meal. Guests are certainly very welcome, but a no-show will require payment of the meal(s) by the club member who invited the guest(s).
Dinner is $35 per person. If you charge your meal (credit card), we will add $1 per meal. Please purchase your drinks from the staff in the banquet room. The receipts count towards our room rental minimums.
